Meet Twiggy.

Very exciting times when a new ride comes home! After over a year of poking around used car websites, I found this 2006 Toyota Sequoia Limited online that was being sold by a nice older couple from Wetaskawin. They bought it to deliver their 2 boys to hockey and baseball games scattered throughout Western Canada, and the truck has the miles to prove it. Now that they are empty nesters, they don’t need the rig any more. Twiggy was 360,000kms old when we found him, but doesn’t look or feel a day older than 150! Thank you Frank and family for taking good care of him. He is in good hands.

It’s currently -25C outside, so I can’t get out to poke around at my new truck. I haven’t tried to fit it in the garage yet, but I’m not holding my breath.

Over time, Twiggy will be built up into a family adventure rig, ready to take us to the mountains at a moments notice. Some fun mods are in the pipeline, but for now he will stay true to form. Twiggy is still holding on to that nose piercing he got as a teen, I might have to take care of that.

The Pipeline will feature our adventures with Twiggy. Watch this space. He is Twiggy.
